Though I may refer you to certain
sections that I think might be helpful for you to read. Here is My Animal Purchase Policy: To purchase a Chinchilla or Sugar Glider:
1st E-mail & Tell Me which one you want.
This means Choose a Chinchilla that is posted for sale.
Chinchillas
that are For Sale will have the words, "FOR SALE" under their Photo
a Posted Price with on my "CHIN SALE" page.
2nd I'll ask for a $50 Non-Refundable Deposit/Holding Fee.
This means you have let me know that you are serious about purchasing
the animal,
and you're ready to put down a deposit. This Deposit is also a Holding Fee, meaning that
I've reserved the animal for you by removing him from public
sale. This service cannot be
undone and therefore is non-refundable. I normally send a PayPal Invoice for the deposit.
Then most people pay the final balance
in cash on arrival. I do not accept personal checks.
3rd Set up and confirm a pick-up
appointment
This
means that I've received your Deposit, and now we can move onto setting a Date & Time
for you to pick up your pet. At this point, you have received all of my contact information as well
as directions to my home. Pick-up
Appointments take place within 2 weeks after the deposit is
received. 4th Pick up your Chinchilla & Pay remaining balance.
This means that you show up at the agreed upon date & time to pick up your new pet.
Your
final balance can be paid in cash on pick-up day or PayPal BEFORE your arrival.
This can be a fun visit
- I can answer all of your questions, Show you around the Herd,
teach handling & training techniques, and
show some ways to make the best of your
new relationship. Important Side note: Chinchillas & Sugar Gliders cannot be reserved until your Deposit is received.
If you cannot pick up within 2 weeks: E-mail Me as soon as possible
prior to your pick up due date,
so we can discuss an extended Purchase Agreement. #6/10 Also...
Chinchilla Prices are Quality Based, and I do not price
them any earlier than 4 weeks
of age, so PLEASE don't
ask me to predict what the cost might be. Prices run from
$50
(Pet Quality) - $300 (High Quality), Sometimes higher for Accumulative Hybrids
or
Extraordinarily High Quality. Also...I cannot predict
the color or date of birth BEFORE kits/joeys are born, so please don't ask.

is a "Lifetime Congenital Defect Guarantee" à This covers Genetic
& In-utero Developmental Problems. This refers to any problem that is a result of genetics/deformity/severe
weakness in any part of the body &/or problems that the animal was born with. In 2001, I gave a refund for a Chinchilla
kit who died at the age of 6 months due to a malformed diaphragm. Poor
little guy. The Owner was very gracious and bought another baby from me. 10
day General Health Guarantee: This refers to any pre-existing condition/Health problem that was present
before the animal left here. It also covers shock - The animal dies in transport or is found dead in the cage within
10 days of leaving here. A comparable replacement is given. In 11 years, I have never had to replace an animal. :D Disposition: I Guarantee that your Chinchilla/Sugar Glider will be friendly, well fed, healthy, happy
& tame when leaving my home ~ Now the rest is up to you! :) *The
use of pet store food COMPLETELY voids the health guarantee* Thanks!
